OPINION AND ORDER

MYRON H. THOMPSON, District Judge.

Defendants Michelin North America, Inc. and Michelin Americas Research & Development Corporation removed this lawsuit from an Alabama state court to this federal court based on diversity-of-citizenship jurisdiction, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1332 and 1441. 1 Plaintiff Donald B. Roe now moves for remand, arguing that the Michelin defendants have failed to establish that the $ 75,000 amount-in-controversy requirement has been met.
