Plaintiffs Bassett traded in an equity in property as first payment on the purchase of a house and lot in Detroit. A land contract dated June 26, 1928, was executed by defendant Trinity Building Company, as vendor, and plaintiffs as vendees. After giving plaintiffs credit for the equity traded in, the contract called for further payments aggregating $6,800, payable with interest at the rate of $60 a month.
