1. This is an interference proceeding in the matter of an improvement in department cash registers, and the controversy is on the following issue :

“In a cash register, the combination of a series of num*336bered keys representing different amounts, a series of special keys, and locking means controlled by the special keys to prevent operation of the numbered keys until a special key has been operated.”
