PICKETT, Judge.

| pulmosan Safety Equipment Company (Pulmosan) seeks supervisory writs from the judgment of the trial court which denied Pulmosan’s motion to dismiss on the grounds of abandonment.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Eight plaintiffs filed suit alleging that they sustained injuries as a result of having been exposed to asbestos and silica while working at SBA Shipyard, Inc.
