Following a jury trial, the defendant, Sanatone Moss, was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 38, par. 12—14(b)(1)) and sentenced to an extended prison term of 60 years. (See Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 38, par. 1005—5—3.2(b)(1).) The defendant now appeals, challenging (1) the constitutionality of section 115—10 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 (Ill. Rev.
