MISHLER, District Judge.

This is an action pursuant to section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), to review a final decision of the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare denying plaintiff’s application for the establishment of a period of disability, and for disability insurance benefits. Pursuant to Rule 56 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, defend- and moves for summary judgment on the ground that the denial of benefits is supported by substantial evidence.
