— Defendant, Benjamin McKeehan, was convicted of selling the prosecuting witness, Sturman, certain intoxicating liquors, consisting of moonshine whisky, and he has appealed.
It appears that the sheriff, Charles Summerfield, had engaged Sturman to assist him in securing evidence of bootlegging against the defendant.
