Appeal from Greene District Coairt. — Hon. Z. A. Church, Judge. This action was begun at law to recover from defendant a large sum of money alleged to have been paid' by plaintiff to defendant for intoxicating liquors sold to him in violation of law. The action was brought in Carroll county, and there tried in 1905, resulting in a verdict for the defendant. This verdict was set aside, and new trial ordered, a ruling which was affirmed on appeal.
