I. INTRODUCTION

In 2008, Defendant Reginald Lashawn Sawyer received a sentence of 168-months on felony drug-trafficking and firearm convictions. That sentence reflects a significant downward departure from a statutorily required minimum sentence based upon the Government’s motion recognizing the substantial assistance provided by Mr. Sawyer.
