¶ 1. Dr. Kristi Blessitt filed a complaint alleging medical malpractice against King’s Daughters Hospital of Yazoo County, Inc. (KDH), Dr. William P. Thompson, Dr. Lawrence Madison Sutton, Jr., Dr. Gary A. Cirilli, and John Does One through Five. Dr. Thompson moved to dismiss the complaint arguing that it was filed outside of the applicable limitations period provided by Mississippi Code Annotated section 15-1-36(1) (Rev.2003).
