A jury found defendant Michael Cobb guilty of murder (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1978 Supp., ch. 38, par. 9 — 1(a)) and armed violence (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 38, par. 33A — 2) on the basis that defendant was accountable (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 38, par. 5 — 2(c)) for the shooting death of Leon Buchanan.
