Alvin Bernal Jackson, a/k/a tice. convicted of capital murder in Pulaski County Circuit Court and was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. We affirmed Mr. Jackson’s sentence in Jackson v. State, 306 Ark. 70, 811 S.W.2d 299 (1991). While serving the above sentence, Mr. Jackson was charged with capital murder in the death of Scott Grimes, a correctional officer at the Maximum Security Unit in Jefferson County.
