In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for legal malpractice, the plaintiff appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much *585of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Douglass, J.), dated April 3, 2006, as granted that branch of the defendant’s motion which was to dismiss the complaint for failure to state a cause of action pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (7).
Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.
