RIDGELY, Justice:

Plaintiff-Appellant Antoinette A. Chil-son appeals from the Superior Court’s grant of a new trial in her lawsuit against her insurer, Defendant-Appellee Allstate Insurance Company (“Allstate”), for un-derinsured motorist benefits arising out of an automobile accident with Joseph W. Lloyd, Sr. This case has been tried twice. At the first trial, held before a jury, the jury found in Chilson’s favor and awarded $2 million in damages.
