In April, 1922, appellant was the owner of 275 shares of the capital stock of the Continental National Bank, a national banking-association organized under the laws of the United States, with its place of business in Kansas City, Mo. On April 28, 1922, ap*729pellant executed and delivered to said bank Ms promissory note for the sum of $10,437, payable on demand, with interest from date at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum.
