MEMORANDUM AND ORDER ON DEFENDANTS’ JOINT MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

LINDSAY, District Judge.

This is a wrongful death action, predicated upon theories of negligence and breach of warranty, filed by the parents of Sharyn Spencer (“Sharyn”), who are the co-administrators of her estate. Sharyn was born with hemophilia, and the plaintiffs claim that she became infected with HIV from contaminated blood products and subsequently died of AIDS-related illnesses.
