OPINION
BEN T. BARRY, Bankruptcy Judge.
Pauletta J. Purvis, a single person, filed her voluntary, chapter 7 bankruptcy petition on June 16, 2009. On. Schedule C, Purvis exempted certain real estate as her homestead under the Arkansas Constitution, article 9, § 5. On September 24, 2009, the chapter 7 trustee objected to the exemption, arguing that Purvis did not qualify as head of the household under Arkansas law, and, therefore, is not entitled to claim the homestead exemption.
