This is a claim for personal injuries pursuant to section 8(d) of the Court of Claims Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 37, par. 439.8(d)). The Claimant alleges that he was injured as a result of the negligence of the State’s employees on July 30,1983, when he slipped and fell on wet terrazzo tile on the floor just outside the shower area in one of the housing units at the Vandalia Correctional Center.
