1Opinion of the Court

Appellee brought this suit to recover damages on account of the wrongful cancellation of an insurance policy, claiming as his measure of damages the premiums paid by him with lawful interest thereon from the respective payments.

The undisputed facts show that the appellant is a fraternal insurance organization maintaining lodges in Texas, and has been since 1891. Appellee became a member of one of its subordinate lodges in 1891, since which time he has been, and still is, a member in good standing.
