Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Mathews, J.), rendered January 22, 1990, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of arson in the third degree.

Defendant was arrested and subsequently indicted on two counts of arson in the third degree and three counts of burglary in the third degree, arising out of incidents in the City of Binghamton and the Village of Johnson City in Broome County.
