Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Latella, J.), rendered January 19, 2006, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and resisting arrest, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The prosecution established a sufficient chain of custody of the controlled substance recovered from the defendant upon his arrest, and the prosecution witnesses provided reasonable assurances of the composition of the controlled substance and of its unchanged condition between its recovery…
