Appellants City of Granite Shoals, Pat Crochet, John Gault, David Dittmar, Bessie Jackson, Shirley King, and Merilyn Nations (collectively, the “City”) bring this interlocutory appeal of the trial court’s order denying their plea to the jurisdiction. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem.Code Ann. § 51.014(a)(8) (West 2008).
