On March 30, 1922, the defendant, a fraternal beneficiary association, incorporated under the laws of the State of Nebraska, issued to William H. Fuller, through a local camp 'known as Hickory Camp, No. 104, a certificate of insurance on his life in the sum of $1,000, his wife, Mrs. Mamie Fuller, being named beneficiary. The insured, Fuller, died on June 25, 1922. The association refused to pay the amount of the insurance, and this suit resulted.
