This is an appeal from the grant, without any reason or explanation, of defendants’ motion to vacate a default judgment and for leave to serve an answer.

The verified complaint alleges that on July 30, 2000, plaintiff, a passenger in an automobile owned and operated by defendant Santiago, was injured when the Santiago vehicle came into contact with a vehicle owned by defendant Deidre Selvin Brown and operated by defendant Leroy Brown.
