This case arises out of a motor vehicle accident which occurred on May 29, 2000 when the plaintiffs vehicle was allegedly struck by a wrecker operated by the defendant Sebastiano P. Sciarretta and owned by the defendant Preferred Towing Auto Repair, Inc.. The original complaint dated October 1, 2001, contained allegations of negligence and recklessness in a single count.
