Plaintiff resided in an apartment building owned by defendants U.E.S.S. Leasing Corporation and Builders and Realtors Corporation with security provided by defendant Mid-City Security Services, Inc. A few minutes before 7:00 a.m. on July 11, 1992, plaintiffs boyfriend telephoned her, indicating that he was at a nearby store and that he expected to arrive in a few minutes.
