These three unrelated criminal cases are consolidated for purposes of this appeal. The Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment in each of them, extensively and chronologically detailing their respective facts in separate opinions. Jones v. State, 250 Ga. App. 829 (553 SE2d 24) (2001); Linkous v. State, 254 Ga. App. 43 (561 SE2d 128) (2002); Mimms v. State, 254 Ga. App. 483 (562 SE2d 754) (2002).
