Joshua DeWitt (“Father”) appeals the judgment of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri (“trial court”), which dismissed without prejudice1 Father’s Pe*115tition for Declaration of Paternity, Order of Custody, Visitation, and Support (“Petition”) for lack of personal jurisdiction over the minor child (“Child”). The judgment of the trial court is affirmed in part, reversed in part, and remanded for further proceedings consistent with our ruling today.
