Suit by the appellees, who were bankers, doing business in the name of Hazzard, Murphy & Co., against the appellants, on a promissory note made by them May 10th, 1872, for two hundred dollars, with interest at ten per cent., due sis months after date, payable to the order of M. Ereidbarger, negotiable and payable in the First National Bank of Newcastle, Indiana, and assigned by the payee by endorsement, before maturity, to the appellees.
