Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Grajales, J.), rendered July 29, 1982, convicting him of murder in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Judgment affirmed.

Viewing the evidence in a light most favorable to the People (People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620), we conclude that, as a matter of law, there was legally sufficient evidence adduced at trial to sustain defendant’s conviction. Nor do we consider the jury’s verdict to be against the weight of the…
