This case arises from a dispute between the American Bar Association, the national accrediting body for law schools and its Consultant on Legal Education John Se-bert (collectively “ABA”), and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School (“Cooley” or “the school”), an accredited law school located in Lansing, Michigan. The dispute centers on Cooley’s attempts to begin two satellite programs — one at Oakland University in Rochester (“Oakland campus”) and one in Grand Rapids (“Grand Rapids campus”).…
