Motion for leave to serve an amended answer setting up the defense of payment.
This action was commenced in the Eighth District Court, February 6th, 1886. Issues were joined in that court February 11th, 1886. The pleadings were oral; the complaint being for work, labor, and services, and the answer a gene- ■ ral denial.
