This litigation grows out of a written lease executed between the parties on August 15, 1925, by the terms of which Bose Davis demised to John C. and Pern Alimón the premises known as the first and second apartments of 3108 West Madison street, Chicago, for a term beginning on that day and ending April 30, 1928, at a rental of $100 a month.
