Defendant, Arthur Leroy Wakeley, appeals his conviction for possession of marijuana. We affirm.

On February 4, 1980, Bellingham police received a report of shots being fired. The report was phoned by Lloyd and June Ewing, landlords of an apartment complex. Lloyd, June, and a guest heard what they thought were three gunshots at about 10:30 in the evening. June Ewing thought she heard the sound of gun bolt action.
