The petitioner, Miss Prances P. Key, who in this proceeding is called tbe “chief clerk” in tbe office of tbe Secretary of State, has applied for a writ of mandamus to require tbe State Auditor to honor a requisition for her salary for tbe month of May, 1923. This requisition is shown to have been regularly drawn in her favor by tbe Secretary of State, upon tbe Auditor.
