For the foregoing picture, we venture to say, there is no precedent in the history of judicial distributions of the estates of deceased persons. There was a will,— a model for brevity, conciseness, and clearness, considering the magnitude of the estate and number of persons to be remembered efficiently. It is not claimed, and could not well be, that there was any ambiguity in the instrument from the opening lines to the closing of the fourth codicil.
