On February 1, 1999, First Tuskegee Bank sued Barry Bryant in the Lowndes Circuit Court. In its complaint, First Tuskegee Bank alleged that Bryant owed $69,670.17 plus interest (the amount due under a promissory note Bryant executed with the bank on September 5, 1997) and an attorney fee.
