— The plaintiff in error, hereinafter referred to as the defendant, was indicted, tried- and convicted in the circuit court of Jackson county of the crime of obtaining money by false representations and practices, and to review the sentence imposed comes here by writ of error. The indictment, omitting its formal parts, charges as follows: “That one Giles Morris on the 8th day of April, A.
