At the election April 1, 1924, in Olio township, Wood-ford county, Frank Pifer was a candidate on the democratic ticket for supervisor and James E. Anderson was a candidate on the republican ticket .for the same office. The result of the election as declared by the judges was that Pifer received 395 votes and Anderson 391 votes. A certificate of election was issued to Pifer and he qualified as supervisor. April 23 Anderson filed a petition in the county court to contest the election.
