The parties to this unhappy controversy are brothers. The subject-matter of dispute is the title to the Girard Hotel, in Chestnut Street, Philadelphia. The form of the litigation is a bill in equity, with answer, proofs, &c. Presbury & Billings, the tenants of the hotel when the litigation began, and Thomas Edwards, Jr., a mortgagee of James, were made co-defendants with James, but the only real parties in interest are the plaintiff, George W.
