This is an action for damages for personal injuries, resulting in death, brought in the Superior Court of Cook county, by John F. Devine, administrator of the estate of Leonardo Storto, deceased, appellee, against Chicago & Alton Railroad Company, a corporation, appellant and hereinafter referred to as defendant. The jury returned a verdict for $3000 against defendant, and the judgment followed, from which judgment this appeal was taken.
