There are two things in life that are for certain, death and taxes. These immortal words of Ben Franklin ring as true today as they did when they were first uttered back in the late 1700s. This case involves a couple trying to get around one of the two inevitabilities of life. Apparently, they did not file a local income tax return in Wheatfield Township. A complaint was filed against them and they were both found guilty by the district justice. They appealed de novo to this court and likewise were found guilty.
