OPINION AND ORDER
CASELLAS, District Judge.
Pending before the Court is a motion for summary judgment filed by the defendant, the Order of St. Benedict, (“OSB”), on December 21, 1999. (Docket # 40). 1 For the reasons stated below, Defendant’s motion is GRANTED.
I. Factual Background
On April 1st, 1998 Rafael Vélez-Cajigas, ( “Vélez-Cajigas”), filed the complaint in the case at bar against the OSB for declaratory and equitable relief, as well as for monetary damages pursuant to Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, (the “ADA”); 42 U.S.C. §§ 12102 et. seq.
