This is the second appeal in this case. See Pickens v. Black, 316 Ark. 499, 872 S.W.2d 405 (1994).’ The facts necessary for a complete understanding of this appeal are specified below.
In 1991, R. A. Pickens died testate leaving the family homestead to his third wife, appellee Carol Pickens. Appellants, the children of R. A. and his first wife Madelyn who died in 1968, filed suit challenging their father’s will.
