Gray v. Pacific National Bank
Court of Appeals of Washington
1Opinion of the CourtArmstrong, J.
Plaintiff, Jean Gray, commenced this appeal from a dismissal of her petition contesting the will of the decedent, Edna Crane. The sole issue raised by the appeal is whether the trial court erred in granting the dismissal on the ground that the plaintiff, Jean Gray, was not an “interested party.” 1 We hold that the petition should not have been dismissed.
The facts indicate that the decedent died February 18, 1972, and left surviving only one heir-at-law, a sister, Lucile C. Erickson. Plaintiff Jean Gray is the daughter of Lucile C. Erickson, and niece of the decedent.
