|tIn this succession proceeding, the decedent, Charley A. Cheney, Sr., died intestate and was survived by two children and three grandchildren. One of the decedent’s grandchildren, Charley A. Cheney, III, filed a petition to be named the provisional administrator of the estate and subsequently petitioned to consolidate estate funds and manage the decedent’s business.
