'The American Gypsum Company is engaged in the mining of gypsum, and the preparation, storage and shipment of gypsum products, in Ottawa county, and was defendant in the court of common pleas in an action brought to recover damages for the destruction and injury of certain cars owned by and in the custody of The Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway Company.
