*463In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Eerier, J.), dated March 31, 2004, which granted the motion of the defendant Michael M. Bowe and the separate motion of the defendants Ted R. Niranjan and David Niranjan for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against them on the ground that the plaintiff did not sustain a serious injury within the meaning of Insurance Law § 5102 (d).
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, with costs, the motions are denied, and the complaint is…
