New Jersey’s judiciary was recently given national recognition for its work in the field of complementary dispute resolution — the name used in this state for court-designed alternatives to litigation. The award was given by the Center for Public Resources for our statewide plan for a comprehensive justice center in every county, designed to make alternatives to litigation available for the resolution of disputes.
