This action arises out of a search for and seizure of property belonging to Gospel Missions of America (“GMA”) and certain of its individual members. The search and seizure took place pursuant to a warrant that issued based upon probable cause to believe that the property was associated with an illicit charitable operation in violation of Los Angeles City and County ordinances regulating charitable solicitations.
